WEDDING MEMENTO OF YOUR SPECIAL DAY.
WEDDING DAYS ARE HERE!
There is so much excitement. Planning arrangements to do, parties to prepare for, and that is where I come in.
All brides have a bridal shower, and we all want to give a little something to the bride-to-be that will be a very special memento of her most joyous day.
What better memento than a minature size wedding cake made of solid white chocolate.
This is so easy that a child can do this
Use styrofoam plates, cut in 1" strips. Then make a 4" circle, 3" circle, and a 2" circle. To make the styrofoam bend use a butter knife (back side)and run it down the back of the strip. Just like you would if you were trying to put a curl in a ribbon.
Now that your three circles are made, it is time to melt your white chocolate.
I used CANDIQUIK white chocolate. I like it because you can microwave it, and it melts fast.
Now, you will need a flat plate, or tray. It doen't matter as long as it is flat. Spread out Plastic Wrap on tray. Set your three circles on the plate on top of plastic wrap. Melt your white chocolate in the tray that it comes in. Pour melted chocolate into each circle almost to the top. Set a butter knife on top of each circle, so that the circles are weighted down and the chocolate won't all run out. Some will as you can see in the picture. Don't worry. It will break away from styrofoam because the chocolate won't stick. Put in freezer for 20 minutes.
Remove from the freezer, and test to make sure that the chocolate is solid. Remove the styrofoam, and place on a pretty plate. Stack circles. Take frosting and put a dab under each circle to keep it from slipping. Then use the color of frosting and the decorations that you think the bride would like on her special Memento cake. I put two play wedding rings on the top of this chocolate cake.
AFTER A BEAUTIFUL MEMENTO LIKE THIS................... HOW COULD THE BRIDE NOT SAY......................... ..........."I DO."............
