SAINT PATRICKS DAY, BLESSINGS ABOUND.
SAINT PATRICKS DAY was always so much fun when we were in school. It was a tradition that you had to wear green, or you was a target for getting pinched. I don't know where that tradition came from.
But we have some crafts and recipes that I am sure that you will enjoy making for this special day.
THE SHAMROCK
This shamrock is made with chocolate heart shape petals.
Makes for a very appealing center piece.
SAINT PATRICK GREEN HAT
This cute little green hat is made with rice krispy treats.
Also the trim is made with Hersheys candy bar, and the buckle is made with laffy taffy.
POT-O-GOLD
Everyone knows the story of the pot-o-gold at the end of the rainbow, but I have seen alot of rainbows and no gold.
So, I'll show you how to make a Pot-O-Gold with dark chocolate and rice krispy treats that will make your smile look like a rainbow.
I will end this page with an Irish Story.
An Irish Bible scholar, trying to teach the Word of God to his fellow countrymen, was asked to explain the trinity. He thought a moment then stooped down, plucked a leaf from the shamrock and held it before them. He asked them to behold the living example of the "THREE-IN-ONE".
