POT-O-GOLD,
HE WHO FINDS THE RAINBOW,
FINDS CHOCOLATE.
POT-O-GOLD
You have always heard of the
gold at the end of the rainbow.
Well, in my life time I have
yet to find it.
But this little pot with gold
coins is a reality.
That's because you make it, and
it stays in your hot little hands.
INGREDIENTS
6 Cups rice krispies
1 Bag of Marshmallows
6 Tbls. Butter
Follow recipe on the package.
1-2 Cups Dark Chocolate
(amount depends on how big
you make your Pot)
1 bag of chocolate gold coins
also some shiny decorations.
Make up your recipe of rice krispy
treats. Let set for about 5 minutes
so that it can cool.
Spray hands with Pam Spray, so that
the krispies don't stick to your hands.
Scoop up a big ball in your hands, and
start shaping and rounding your pot.
Make an indentation in the ball to form
an edge or lip to your pot.
When finished put in freezer for 10 minutes.
Now take your
chocolate and
put in the Micro,
and microwave
for 20 seconds
at a time, until
the chocolate is
smooth & creamy.
Remove your pot from the freezer, and take a stiff brush
and start painting the pot until it is totally covered with
chocolate.
Sit your pot
on a rack to
drip and dry.
When dry to
the touch,
pick the pot
up and place
on a pretty plate.
NOW GET OUT THE GOLD COINS, SHINY
TINSEL DECORATIONS, AND WHATEVER ELSE
THAT IS GREEN, AND DECORATE. HAVE FUN!
