MORE CHOCOLATE
FOR THE CHOCOHOLIC!

Personalized MY M&M'S® Candies

MORE CHOCOLATE?
Are you a chocolate addict?
Do they call you a CHOCOHOLIC?
I think I know exactly what you need.
You need some more recipes made of chocolate,
and here they are.................

CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER DROPS

1 cup rice cereal, crushed
1 cup peanut butter
1 cup powdered sugar
2 Tbls margarine or butter
2 cups chocolate chips (either milk or semi-sweet chips)
2 Tbls paraffin wax

Mix peanut butter, powered sugar and butter well. Add rice
cereal. Roll in small ball and chill. Melt chocolate chips
and paraffin. Dip ball in chocolate and cool. Place on
covered (wax paper) cookie sheet.

CHOCOLATE NUT CRUNCH

3/4 cup nuts, chopped
1/2 cup butter
3/4 cup brown sugar (packed)
Small pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips

Sprinkle nuts into buttered 8" square pan.

Melt butter in saucepan over low heat.

Add sugar and bring to a full rolling boil over medium heat,
stirring constantly. Reduce heat and boil 4 minutes,
stirring occasionally. Pour evenly over nuts;

Sprinkle with chocolate. Cover with foil for 2 minutes to
soften chocolate; then spread evenly. Chill.
Remove from pan, cut or break into pieces.
(This is OPTIONAL:)
After I broke into pieces, I took each piece and dipped
into melted chocolate to give it a more professional look.

Makes about 1 pound.

CHOCOLATE COVERED CHERRIES

60 Maraschino cherries, with stems (2-10oz. jars)
3 Tbls. butter, softened
3 Tbls. light corn syrup
1-1/2 lbs. dipping chocolate

Drain the cherries on paper towels for several hours.

In a small bowl, combine butter and light corn syrup.
Stir in the powdered sugar; knead till the mixture is
smooth.

You may have to chill mixture if it is too soft to handle.
Shape about 1/2 teaspoon of the powdered sugar mixture
around each cherry.

Place on a waxed paper-lined baking sheet; chill.

Melt the chocolate. Holding the cherries by the stems,
dip the cherries, one at a time, in the chocolate.

Be sure to completely seal the cherries in chocolate or the
juice may leak out near the stem. Let excess chocolate
drip off cherries.

Place covered cherries, stem up, on a waxed paper.

Chill till the chocolate is firm.

Place in a covered container and let ripen in the
refrigerator for 1 to 2 weeks before serving.

Store cherries in the refrigerator. Makes 60 candies.

INDOOR S'MORES

Just dunk jumbo marshmallows into
melted chocolate, then sandwich
between two graham crackers.
Tip: Try different combinations,
like chocolate graham crackers and
toasted coconut marshmallows.

MORE CHOCOLATE:

PEANUT BUTTER DROPS:

Drop creamy or nutty peanut butter on a tray
by the teaspoon. Put in freezer while
you prepare the melted chocolate. Make sure they
are semi-frozen.

Melt Chocolate in the Micro until you can stir
it until smooth.

Take PB drops out of freezer, and put a PB drop on a
teaspoon, and drop into the chocolate.
Toss the PB drop around in the chocolate until covered.
Place on a tray with waxpaper until chocolate is set.

Dizzle melted chocolate over the tops of the PB's,
That makes them look professional.

CHOCOLATE COVERED POTATOE CHIPS:
In a bowl Melt Chocolate in Micro until
you can stir it.

Take a potatoe chip (Prinkles are best
because they are all the same shape),
cover it with chocolate, place on tray
without touching. Let chocolate dry on chips.
