EASY CHOCOLATE RECIPES DONE IN A WINK!
These are my favorite quick and easy chocolate recipes.
Try these recipes for the holidays, or for birthday parties,
or just because you have a sweet tooth.
Whatever the reason they will be a great hit, and your friends will be wanting your recipe.
First one is: ALMOND ROCA Ingredients:
Buttered cookie sheet 1 Cup Sugar 2 cubes Butter (1 cup) 2 Tlbs. Water 1/2 pack slivered Almonds
Put these items in a pan and bring to a boil, continue to boil for five minutes or until it turns tan. Pour on buttered cookie sheet. Place 4 Hershey Bars on top of the Roca, when the bars have melted, Spread the chocolate all over the top. Sprinkle crushed almonds all over the top of the chocolate. Cool. Break into pieces.
This recipe doesn't sound very good but it is delicious. It tastes like fudge. Try it, you'll like it!
CHOCOLATE BOILED COOKIES
2 Cups Sugar 1 Cube Butter 21/2 Cups Oats 1/2 Cup Milk 4 Tbls. Hershey Cocoa 2 Tsp. Vanilla Optional: You can add none, one, or all,(nuts, peanut butter coconut, or granola mix.)
Cook sugar, milk, butter and cocoa for one and a half minutes. Start counting when mixture has reached a full boil. Remove from fire and add oats and vanilla and any one of the options above. Then beat until well blended. Drop by spoonful onto waxed paper. Let cool before eating. You'll love them!
FUDGY THUMB BUTTONS
Soft chocolate treat with a
touch of Peanut Butter. This recipe
is so yummy. Enjoy.
2 Tlb. butter (real)
1 & 1/2 tsp. baking cocoa
half cup confectioners' sugar
1/2 tsp. milk
2 Tlb. creamy peanut butter
In a small pan, melt the butter; remove from the heat.
Add cocoa and mix well.
Stir in sugar.
Pour in milk and Stir until smooth.
Blend in the Peanut Butter and mix well.
Place waxed paper on cookie sheet. Drop by spoonful on pan.
flatten tops smooth then put a thumb print on it.
Refrigerate. Makes 1-1/2 dozen.
CHOCOLATE HAYSTACKS
This is the last of the easy chocolate recipes. Melt Milk,
Dark, or White chocolate chips in a double boiler or in the Micro.
Add about one cup of coconut to your chocolate mixture.
Blend well. Drop by the spoonful on a buttered cookie sheet.
Let cool before eating.
