CHOCOLATE CHERRY MICE
CUTE ENOUGH TO EAT!
These cute CHOCOLATE CHERRY MICE
make a wonderful party favor for
your guests.
My friend who worked at the store next
door made these mice for all the employees
and gave them out to us at Christmas.
So here's the instructions for these
cute little mice.

INGREDIENTS: FOR CHOCOLATE CHERRY MICE
1 pkg. Hershey Kisses
1 tube Decorating Icing(white)
1 pkg. slivered Almonds(ears)
1 jar maraschino(with stems-tails)
1 large chunk(melting chocolate)

DRAIN CHERRIES
Take a piece of foil and crush into
a ball. Then straight out just a little
bit. In fact make like a little tray.
Pour the juice of the cherries into a cup.
Then place cherries on the tray to drain.

Place chocolate in bowl.
Melt in micro.
Dip cherries in chocolate..
Be sure to cover all the way up on stem.
Lay chocolate covered cherry on its side, with stem sticking
up like a tail, on waxed paper.

This is a picture of the body of
the mouse.
You can see that the kiss is stuck
to the front of the chocolate cherry.
Remove foil from kiss, and place the kiss
to the front of the wet chocolate cherry,
and it should hold.

The mouse on the left has ears, and the way that we do that, is to take 2 almond slivers, and while the chocolate is wet we
stick the slivers behind the candy kiss.
Take your tray of mice and put in freezer for about 5 minutes
this lets everything set-up, and stay in place.
The chocolate cherry mice have a pink nose.
Take a 1/4 tsp. of white icing and add a tiny bit of red
tint. Just a dab on the tip of a toothpick,
stir until it turns pink.
With another toothpick take a small dab of pink icing and
put on the tip of the candy kiss. This makes the nose.

You are now ready for eyes on chocolate cherry mice.
Take a toothpick and put a little dab of white icing on the
end.
Proceed to put a set of eyes on your mice. Let set for 5 minutes
Your Mice are now complete and ready to Party!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
