VISIT THE BEST LITTLE TOWN IN THE WEST.
JULIAN CANDY SHOPS
Can be found
in Southern CA,
up in the mountains
of Julian, CA,
4,000 feet.
This is the best little tourist town outside of San Diego,CA.
This is the place where I got my job as a cashier in a most
unique little candy shop.
That's right, a shop filled with CANDY,
and here it is.
This is the first shop on my list, mostly because I favor it.
This shop is called the Julian Candy Basket.
You will find it in the Cole Building on the 2nd floor.
It has every kind of candy that you could ever imagine. If
you visit you will be greeted with a smile and a welcome, and
best of all, a sample of old fashion homemade chocolate
fudge.
Be sure and check them out when you come to visit.
These two candy shops
are very unique also.
This shop is called the
JULIAN CIDER MILL
and they are known for their delicious cider, plus they carry dried fruits and nuts, and also some wonderful candies.
You will find it across the street from the Candy Basket.
The store on the right is called MINER'S DINER and is
a wonderful place to get an old time milk shake. Hmmmmmmm,
but, also in there in a little cubby hole in the basement,
and I do mean little. Look for the CANDY MINE
They have alot of candy for the kids.(Can also mean adult
kids too.) ha ha.
I know you are saying to yourself, "what has your website
got to do with this little tourist town."
I love this little town. I have had my best
days working here.
This area has been hit hard with fires in 2003 and 2007, but
by the grace of God this little town has made it through all
of these fires, and stands tall and proud.
So my reason is to ask you to take a visit to this wonderful
little country town, and I know that you won't regret it.

see in just about every restuarant because
we are known for the apples that are grown
in Julian.

We also have many hotels and bed and
breakfast cabins.
