BUTTERFLY KISS OF CHOCOLATE
A KISS LIKE NO OTHER.
HAPPY VALENTINE DAY.
LADIES, THIS BUTTERFLY KISS WILL GET YOU ONE VERY SWEET
VALENTINE NIGHT.
The Butterfly Kiss is a semi-easy craft. It is just
kind of intense to keep your chocolates melted and to do
your outlines and fill-in's.
This is not a childs project.
This is what you need:
One giant Hershey Kiss
And a pattern for your butterfly.
Small amount of dark chocolate for outlining the butterfly.
Small amount of white chocolate, and orange or yellow tint.
This is to make the white chocolate one of the colors.
Small amount of sprinkles, (this goes on the wings)
Toothpicks-this is for drawing lines from the chocolate
outline into the orange or yellow, this makes dark lines
into the color like a butterfly.
One chocolate chip for the head of the butterfly.
Melt your chocolates, and add the color to the white
chocolate.
Place dark chocolate into a zip-lock bag, squeeze chocolate
down to the corner. Put a small hole in the corner.
Now with the dark chocolate draw the outline on your
wing patterns and the body, you can do the antennas, but I
found they were to delicate to mess with.
Spoon up your color chocolate and fill in your butterfly.
You can use the toothpick to direct the chocolate to fill in.
Now take your toothpick and stick into the dark chocolate and
and draw a line of dark into the color. This makes the lines
that you see on a butterfly.
Place in freezer for about 5 minutes to set-up.
Remove from the freezer, add more chocolate to the body,
(make it heavy because you are going to sit your wings in
this. The chocolate acts like a glue.)
Position the wings where you want them. Then sit something
next to them to support them until they dry.
Next glue on the chocolate chip for the head. Use melted
chocolate for glue. Put melted chocolate on the bottom of
the butterfly and glue to the giant chocolate kiss.
Use something to support the butterfly so it doesn't fall.
Leave until dry.
